Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dribble Software Private Limited ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use Dribble Books (the "Service"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, mobile number, business details (name, GSTIN, PAN, address) provided at sign-up.
- Business data — invoices, customers, vendors, products, transactions, payroll and other records you enter ("Your Data").
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser type and actions taken, used to operate and improve the Service.
- Payment data — subscription payments are processed by third-party payment gateways; we do not store full card details.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the Service;
- To verify your identity at sign-up (email and mobile OTP);
- To send transactional messages (receipts, reminders, alerts) and important service notices;
- To provide support and respond to your requests;
- To improve features, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:
- with service providers (hosting, email, SMS, payment gateways) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations;
- with government systems you choose to file to (e.g. GST/e-Invoice/e-Way Bill portals) to complete the actions you request;
- where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of users;
- in connection with a business transfer (merger or acquisition), with continued protection of your data.
4. Data retention
We retain Your Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax record-keeping requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. You may request deletion, subject to such retention obligations.
5. Security
We use technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, role-based access, tenant isolation, audit logs and regular backups — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using reasonable safeguards.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export or request deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@dribblesoft.com.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (such as theme and language). These are required for the Service to function.
8. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, with the "Last updated" date revised above.
